In my last blog post, on Graham and Sarah’s Jericho Beach engagement session, I referred to their “secret” wedding location. I couldn’t reveal the unique location at that time, but now I can. Their ceremony was the first ever wedding held on beautiful Bowyer Island! Graham spent many childhood days on this small island in Howe Sound. The island was the perfect setting for their beautiful day.
The ceremony was short and sweet and full of life. After the ceremony, Graham, his father, a groomsmen, and his brother-in-law surprised Sarah with songs! During the cocktail time, we went to the family home for a quick portrait session. Then all of the guests hopped on water taxis and boats to go to Granville Island for the reception at Bridge’s Restaurant. The restaurant was beautifully decorated with many personal touches from family and friends.
I had a wonderful time capturing this beautiful wedding in images. Thank you to Graham and Sarah and their family and friends for such a memorable and amazing day!
