Happy Thanksgivings + Happy Monday

On this Thanksgiving weekend, I had a chance to visit the Vancouver Aquarium with my family after a family session at Stanley Park. We took our time wandering around and sat downstairs for the beluga whale show. We’ve sat outside before but I highly recommend going downstairs to watch. It’s a totally different experience!

As I was uploading the photos for the clients, I quickly glanced through a handful of the photos I took at the Aquarium. WOW… the
Beluga whale was looking right at me. It may not be the perfect shot due to lighting, but it struck me for some reason. Lately, I’ve been stressed about work. I struggle to find balance between work and life, as editing photos just never ends. Yet, I’m sort of sad that I’ll be shooting the last 2011 wedding this weekend. It will end with a big bang as it’s a 3 day wedding. I can’t hardly wait!! As a wedding photographer, summer is the busiest time. But as a mother of a toddler, EVERYDAY brings something different.

I’m very thankful to my supportive husband and family (my parents and sister/brother-in-laws). They’ve always jumped to the chance when I asked them to baby-sit Lea when I have to work. Especially my mom! Although sometimes Lea drives me nuts, I’m thankful she is in our life. and THANK YOU to our golden retriever, Cove. I’m sorry we haven’t been walking you everyday. Last but not least, I’m thankful for our health but have room to improve
